Description

In 19th-century Paris, as daylight softened into evening, cafés came alive during l’heure verte the Green Hour when absinthe cast its luminous haze over conversation and imagination. The poet Raoul Ponchon once captured its essence: “It seems when I drink you, I breathe in the soul of the young forest.” Even Oscar Wilde spoke of its transformative allure, where perception shifts from desire, to illusion, to an unvarnished truth.

This ring draws from that same moment of enchantment.

At its center rests a sugarloaf cabochon-cut bottle green tourmaline (15 × 15 × 9.5 mm), its depth enriched by natural inclusions each stone uniquely marked, like a fleeting thought suspended in time. Flanking it, two brilliant-cut pink sapphires (3.5 mm) glow with refined intensity, their vivid hue set against the warm luster of 18k rose gold (750/1000).

A composition of color, light, and quiet intrigue, the Green Hour ring reflects a world poised between clarity and dream an elegant tribute to the beauty of perception.

Design

“At Orrling Jewellery, our dedication to excellence extends far beyond the selection of precious materials. It is reflected in the artistry, precision, and uncompromising craftsmanship that define every creation. We continually explore the space where fine art and fine jewellery meet, embracing jewellery as an artistic expression equal in intention, emotion, and craftsmanship to any form of fine art. Each piece is conceived as a wearable work of art sculptural, intentional, and created to be experienced, not simply worn.”
