SUSTAINABILITY

At Orrling Jewellery, sustainability is not a single choice it is a philosophy that informs everything we create.

We stand in contrast to a culture of mass production and disposability. Each piece is designed to endure, to be worn over time, and often to be passed from one generation to the next. Fine jewellery holds a different rhythm, one that values permanence over trend, and meaning over moment. It is the opposite of a wear-and-discard mentality, it is made to last, to gather stories and to remain.

Our responsibility extends beyond design. We work exclusively with 100% recycled and refined metals, significantly reducing environmental impact. Our diamonds are sourced in accordance with the Kimberley Process, ensuring a transparent and responsible supply chain.

We also believe that true sustainability includes people. Through our engagement in the Non-Violence Project and our support of the World Childhood Foundation, we contribute to initiatives that protect and empower future generations.

For us, sustainability is about care, care for materials, for craftsmanship, and for the world these pieces become part of.

ENVIROMENT

At Orrling Jewellery, we do not claim perfection. What we claim is intention.

We strive every day to do our utmost. We know we will not always succeed, but we believe deeply in the importance of trying. Because responsibility is not defined by perfection, but by the willingness to care, to question, and to do better over time.

This craft has been passed down through generations before us. Hands shaping metal, knowledge carried forward, stories embedded in every piece. And just as we have inherited this legacy, we believe it is our duty to pass something on intact, or better to the generations to come.

What is the meaning of creation, if not to preserve what allows it to exist?

From the deep forests and oceans of Scandinavia to distant deserts and rainforests, from the vastness of the Amazon to the stillness of the tundra, from the Nevada desert to the North and South Poles we are all connected by the same fragile balance.

We believe in the power of intention.

In our case, we shape beauty from materials that were once born deep within the Earth just as we all are. Even though we work exclusively with recycled metals, they were once formed far below the surface, shaped over time by the same forces that shape diamonds.

A story written in the Earth.

Natural diamonds begin their journey more than 150 kilometers beneath the surface, where heat and pressure transform carbon into something enduring. Over billions of years, they are carried upward through the Earth’s crust, eventually revealed, then carefully cut and refined by human hands continuing a process that began long before us.

We prepare our children for the future with care, patience, and love. We believe the world deserves the same. The environment that surrounds us is not separate from us it is something we are part of, something we depend on, something we must protect.

We look upon the Earth not as a resource, but as something to respect like we respect those who came before us, and those who will come after.

In that sense, sustainability is not an obligation.

It is a responsibility.

And ultimately, a way of life.

IMPACT

We are committed to minimizing the impact on the environment and are continuously working to
comply with laws and regulation. We shall act responsible, and our ambition is to reduce negative
impact on the external environment both locally and international. We require that our business
partners and customers also comply with national and international environmental laws.
Our manufacturing site shall at all-times be certified according to the Environmental Management
system based upon the ISO 14001 standard which includes a QHSE policy, risk assessment and
updated goals and actions for continuous improvements.

RECYCLING

At Orrling Jewellery, every piece begins with a conscious choice. We work exclusively with 100% recycled and refined metals materials that carry a past, yet are endlessly renewed. By choosing recycled metals, we significantly reduce environmental impact, creating only a fraction of the emissions associated with traditional mining.

It is a quieter, more considered way of working one that respects both craft and the world it comes from. There is something inherently beautiful about metal: it can be transformed, melted, and reshaped again and again without ever losing its strength or purity.

No matter how many times it is renewed, it remains the same at its core. In this way, each piece is part of a continuous story where nothing is lost, only reimagined.

Responsible Sourcing & Ethical Diamonds

Integrity in every stone

At Orrling Jewellery, responsible sourcing is fundamental to our philosophy.

We work with suppliers who adhere to international standards designed to ensure diamonds are obtained through legitimate and ethical channels.

One of the most important global initiatives is the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme, established through cooperation between governments, the diamond industry, and civil society organizations.

The Kimberley Process requires that rough diamonds be accompanied by government-validated certificates confirming that they originate from conflict-free sources.
