THE LTH RING – A TRIBUTE TO CAMPUS HELSINGBORG

Twenty-five years ago,  Swedish designer Håkan Orrling was commissioned to create a unique ring for LTH Campus Helsingborg. The mission was clear: to design a ring that stayed true to the iconic tradition of the LTH ring for Lund University, while also representing the distinct identity and spirit of the Helsingborg campus. To achieve this, Orrling incorporated a powerful local symbol — the silhouette of Kärnan, Helsingborg’s medieval tower and one of the city’s most recognizable landmarks. With its characteristic crown-shaped top, Kärnan adds a strong visual and cultural anchor to the ring, linking the engineering education in Helsingborg to its historical roots and regional pride. The result is a ring that symbolizes not only academic achievement, but also a sense of place and legacy. Just like the students who graduate from LTH Campus Helsingborg, the ring stands at the intersection of innovation and tradition, engineering and identity. Available in 18k gold, 18 k white gold, 14k gold, 14 k white gold, 9k gold, 9 k white gold and sterling silver.

Design

“At Orrling Jewellery, our dedication to excellence extends far beyond the selection of precious materials. It is reflected in the artistry, precision, and uncompromising craftsmanship that define every creation. We continually explore the space where fine art and fine jewellery meet, embracing jewellery as an artistic expression equal in intention, emotion, and craftsmanship to any form of fine art. Each piece is conceived as a wearable work of art sculptural, intentional, and created to be experienced, not simply worn.”
